Our aged care service located in Oxley, Brisbane caters for those requiring residential care.
We offer accommodation, care and services including ethnic specific and dementia secure areas.
Care services are staffed by a team of professional nursing, personal care and therapy specialists who encourage a caring and friendly environment. Care is provided to all residents with dignity and respect. The level of care required by each resident will be assessed prior to entry and then closely monitored on an on-going basis. Our focus is on individual care to provide the best lifestyle and health outcomes for each resident.
Ageing in Place is advocated where possible.
All residents enjoy the comfort and privacy of single rooms and interlocking ensuites between two rooms on the Bakhita House and Magdalen House floors including the ethnic specific floors.
There is a secure unit with single ensuited rooms to provide a safe environment for mobile wandering residents with dementia.

Resident activities are organized by a team of Diversional Therapists to enhance residents’ lifestyle and assist them to maintain social and recreational activities.
Residents from ethnic backgrounds are supported to maintain and continue their cultural beliefs and practices while living at Canossa.
We have a large volunteer program which is managed by the Diversional Therapy Team Leader.
Our Chapel is linked by covered walkways from both Magdalen and Bakhita House enabling residents the opportunity to continue their worship and religious commitment if they choose to do so.
Relatives, friends and the wider community are also welcome to visit and participate in celebrations at the Chapel if they wish to.
