The need for financial and material assistance for Canossa Services is greater and growing.
The work of the Sisters takes many forms including:
- Medical & Nursing Care
- Caring for the Aged
- Rehabilitative & Supportive Care
- Care to ethnic groups
- Spiritual Pastoral Care Services
- Oncology
- Care of retired Religious
The Sisters of the Canossian Daughters of Charity recall Magdalen of Canossa recommendation when she said: “the sisters have to treat the sick person as they would treat the Person of Jesus Christ whom they represent”.
Canossa Services continue the Mission of Jesus Christ by fostering Respect, Justice, Love and Compassion.
This Mission is incorporated in CANOSSA SERVICE’S Philosophy of Care which states that “The Sisters and Lay Staff are committed to bring comfort, healing and hope to the sick, the aged and the dispossessed of our times. For them we reserve our most delicate attention and care as a small ‘sign’ of the boundless tenderness with which the Father loves them”.
Those donating to Canossa Services are joining the Sisters in their dedication to “Making Jesus Christ known and Loved” by the witness of humble service and evangelical Charity.
Canossa Service facilities, which allow the Sisters to carry on their caring services in Christ’s name, were made possible by the support of past contributors. They constitute living memorials to their generosity.
Cheques or Money Orders should be made payable to Canossa Services to be used for such religious charitable or general purposes as the Canossian Sisters shall determine.
